Antique Mongolian Buddhist Thighbone Trumpet

**One of the rarest of all Buddhist ritual items. Fashioned as a bored horn from a human femur, the thighbone trumpet is said to produce a sound that is pleasing the the wrathful deities, but is terrifying to all evil spirits and maras. It is usually held as a left hand wisdom attribute. This is the left femur of a 16 year old girl, which is considered the most effective human bone for controlling spirits and elementals."

Covered with leather in two parts with a leather strap for casting off evil spirits attached. This thighbone trumpet is guaranteed to be authentic. Some fakes are being sold made of animal bones. This is an AUTHENTIC item. In addition, I had this authenticated at a monastery.

I had been trying for a long long time to find one of these. I've only been able to find 2 of these ever. Incredibly rare!!! This is without a doubt, one of the only ones even available in Ulanbaatar right now. A real lucky find for my customers!!!
